Price in CAD
A US-dollar price grows once your bank converts it. Add up the full cost for your home, extra screens included.
Comparison and top pick
Every provider says it's the best IPTV in Canada. We run one, so we won't pretend to be neutral. This page sets out the checks we use on any IPTV service and puts four ways to get TV side by side. It also explains why we think IPTV West suits most Canadian homes in 2026.
We sell IPTV West. This page says so wherever it matters.
Our criteria
Ads shout about channel counts, which matter least. These nine things decide if you're still happy in February.
A US-dollar price grows once your bank converts it. Add up the full cost for your home, extra screens included.
Sent from your own bank app, with a record on both sides. Nothing is charged unless you send it.
It should open every channel without asking for a card, and last long enough to cover an evening, when servers are busiest.
A page that says how many days you have and how the money comes back. A promise in a chat isn't a policy.
Someone who answers in the language spoken at home, so a parent can get help in French.
Setup steps for the exact TV or stick you own. If a provider can't give them, that's your answer.
The guide should show the right shows at the right times. Catch-up replays the second period you fell asleep in.
Anything looks fine at 2 p.m. Saturday night hockey, when half the country is watching, is the test that counts.
Prepaid, with no early-exit fee and no renewal you didn't ask for. When the plan ends, you choose.

Side by side
Four options, judged on the same nine points. We left out scores out of ten on purpose: on a page like this, they'd be made up.

What the table can't show: cable and satellite still give the steadiest picture on the busiest nights, and streaming apps have series you won't find anywhere else. If that matters most, see who should choose something else. For the cost side, read why Canadians switch to IPTV.
Our top pick
Yes, we're picking our own service, so we're biased. Treat this as a sales pitch with the reasons written out, and check each one against the table and your own trial.
We think it's the best IPTV choice for most Canadian homes because it passes all nine checks.
Where we fall short: we can't make weak Wi-Fi in a far corner of the house strong, and the busiest sports nights are hard on any IPTV provider, us included. One plan also covers one screen, so a second TV watching at the same time on the 12 months plan adds $45.00.
Not for everyone
Even the best IPTV service is wrong for some homes. If one of these sounds like you, look at the other options.
If your connection drops below about 10 Mbps in the evening, or cuts out in bad weather, live streaming will frustrate you. Satellite or an antenna may suit you better. Check with our IPTV speed test at the hour you usually watch.
Some people want TV and internet on one bill, with a box and a technician at the door. A cable bundle does that. Ask what it costs after the promo ends.
Our plans are paid by Interac e-Transfer, sent by you each time. If you'd rather have a card on file that renews itself, cable or a streaming app fits better.
If you rarely watch live TV, one or two streaming apps may be all you need. IPTV makes sense when live sports, news, French or international channels are part of your week.
Try before you pay
Use this plan on us or anyone else. One day and one evening tell you more than any review.
Write down the ten channels you watch most. Run our IPTV speed test on the TV you'll use, and read the provider's refund page. If there isn't one, stop here.
Ask for the setup steps for your device and see how clear they are. Ours are in the IPTV setup guides, for Fire TV, Android TV, Smart TVs, Apple TV and phones.
Between 7 and 11 p.m., watch a game or the news for 30 minutes and count the freezes. One short pause can be Wi-Fi. Freezing every few minutes on a wired connection points to the provider.
Open the TV guide on five channels and make sure the times match your time zone. Then go back to something that aired earlier and press play.
Make it specific, like "Which app should I use on my 2018 LG TV?", and write in French if that's what your home speaks. Does someone who knows the product answer, and how quickly?
Test the basement or bedroom TV, one at a time. If everything passed, compare the IPTV plan prices. If not, walk away. You've lost nothing but an evening.
Where you live
The checks are the same everywhere. What changes is which one matters most where you live.
FAQ
Quick answers for people comparing providers.
The one that passes a trial on your own TV and internet, takes a payment you trust, answers in your language and has a written refund policy. We think IPTV West is the best pick for most Canadian homes, but we run it, so hold us to the nine checks above.
Our plans run from $15.99 for 1 month to $89.99 for 12 months, which is $7.50 a month. Be wary of one-time "lifetime" deals. Servers and support cost money every month, so one payment can't cover them for long.
A Fire TV Stick 4K or an Android TV box, because they run almost every IPTV player app. Samsung and LG Smart TVs are limited to their own app stores, and Roku is the hardest. Our Fire TV Stick setup guide takes about 10 minutes.
For most homes it costs less, you can leave when a plan ends, and French and international channels come in the same plan. Cable and satellite are steadier at peak hours, and satellite works where internet is slow.
With us, yes, from your own bank app, in CAD. It's a good test of any provider: a seller that takes only crypto or gift cards is very hard to get money back from.
Pick one with French-language channels in the main plan, not as an add-on, and support that answers in French. Every IPTV West plan includes French TV, and you can write to us in French. Our IPTV Quebec guide has setup tips.
You can't know for sure, but the warning signs are clear: lifetime deals, crypto-only payment, no refund page and one chat app as the only contact. Our IPTV provider checklist lists every red flag.
Take the free 24-hour trial, follow the plan above, and let your own TV be the judge. Plans start at $15.99 CAD.
