Terms of Service
The IPTV service terms that apply when you use IPTV West: your account, screens, payment, the free trial and what we are responsible for. Please read them before you order.
Last updated: September 26, 2026
About these terms
These terms and conditions are an agreement between you and IPTV West ("we", "us"), which runs the IPTV service at iptvwest.ca. They apply when you request a free trial, buy a plan or use the service in any way. Our privacy policy, refund policy and cancellation policy are part of these terms.
By ordering or using the service, you confirm that you've read and accept these terms, and that you've reached the age of majority in your province (18 or 19, depending on where you live).
The service
IPTV West provides an IPTV subscription: access to live TV channels, a video-on-demand library, a TV guide (EPG) and catch-up TV where available, streamed over the internet. After you pay, we send login details (a username and password, an M3U link or Xtream Codes details) that you enter in a player app on your own device.
You supply the device, the player app and the internet connection. Picture quality depends on your connection speed and your home Wi-Fi. Our installation guide shows how to set up common devices, and our overview of what an IPTV subscription includes explains the service in more detail.
Your account
- Give us accurate contact details so we can reach you about your plan.
- Keep your login details private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- Tell us right away if you think someone else is using your login, and we'll change your password.
Screens and connections
Each plan includes 1 screen, which means one device streaming at a time. You can add screens when you order, as shown under multi-screen pricing.
- Use only the number of screens you bought. If more devices stream at once than your plan allows, streams may stop.
- Screens are for the people who live in your household. Don't share your login with friends, relatives who live elsewhere or anyone outside your home.
- You may install the app on more devices than your screen count, as long as no more than the number of screens you bought are playing at the same time.
No reselling
Your plan is for your own household. You may not resell, rent, sublicense or give away access, and you may not sell login details, M3U links or accounts. Want to sell IPTV subscriptions? Apply to our IPTV reseller program, which has its own panel, credits and rules.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the service only in line with Canadian law, including the Copyright Act, and the laws of the province where you live. In particular, you won't:
- record, copy, rebroadcast or redistribute streams or videos;
- show the service in a bar, restaurant, gym or other business, or charge people to watch;
- post your login details or playlist links online;
- try to hack or overload our servers, or get around the screen limit;
- harass or threaten our support team.
Our DMCA notice and copyright policy explains how we handle copyright complaints.
Channels, content and availability
The channel line-up can change
Channels, on-demand titles and TV guide data come from many sources and change over time. We may add or remove channels without notice. We don't promise that any particular channel, event, show or movie will be available, or available in 4K. Channel and title counts on our site are approximate.
No 100% uptime guarantee
We work to keep the service running around the clock, but streaming depends on servers, networks and apps we don't fully control. There may be buffering, outages or times when a channel is down. We don't guarantee the service will be available 100% of the time or free of errors.
Maintenance
Sometimes we need to update servers or move channels. We try to do this during quiet hours, usually late at night Eastern Time, and to warn customers ahead of time when work will take longer than usual.
Prices, payment and renewal
- Prices are in Canadian dollars and listed on our IPTV pricing page. We may change prices for future orders, but never for a plan you've already paid for.
- We accept payment by Interac e-Transfer only. Your plan starts once we receive your payment, match it to your order and send your login details.
- If sales taxes apply to your order, we'll show them before you pay.
No automatic renewal
Plans don't renew by themselves. An Interac e-Transfer is a payment you send, so we can't charge you again without your action. Your plan ends on its end date. We'll send a reminder before then. To keep watching, you send a new payment. The time on a plan runs from activation, whether or not you watch.
The free trial
We offer a free 24-hour trial so you can test the service on your device before you pay. No payment is needed. There is one trial per household, it ends by itself after 24 hours, and it never turns into a paid plan. We may decline requests that look like abuse, such as repeat trials under different email addresses.
Refunds and cancellation
Refunds are covered by our IPTV subscription refund policy, which lets you ask for a refund within 7 days of purchase if the service doesn't work on your device and our support team can't fix it. Our cancellation policy explains how to cancel an order or extra screens.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close your account, without a refund, if you:
- break these terms, for example by sharing your login outside your household or reselling access;
- keep using more screens than you bought after we've warned you;
- send a payment that is reversed, recalled or fraudulent;
- abuse the service, other customers or our staff.
Where we can, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. For serious abuse, such as fraud or posting login details publicly, we may act right away. You can stop using the service at any time.
Devices and third-party apps
Player apps like IPTV Smarters Pro and TiviMate, and devices like Fire TV, Roku or Samsung Smart TVs, are made by other companies. We don't control their fees, updates or availability in app stores. Our legal disclaimer explains this in more detail.
Limitation of liability
We provide the service "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows:
- we're not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits or a missed game, or for problems caused by third-party apps, your device or your internet provider;
- our total liability to you for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived by contract. Some provinces, including Quebec, don't allow certain limits on liability. If you live in one of them, these limits apply only as far as your province's law permits.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. For important changes, we'll email active customers at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you don't accept an important change, you can cancel and we'll refund the unused part of your plan. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the new terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and of the province in which IPTV West is registered. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the consumer laws of the province where you live. Please contact us first if you have a problem. Most issues are solved quickly by email.
General
If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later. These terms, together with the policies linked above, are the whole agreement between you and us about the service.
